Why do actors always drink from empty cups ??

Usually because the sound of sipping and swallowing can detract from a scene, and also because drinking and saying lines too can tax a thespian!

More likely is that they probably started with a full cup and by the time they got to the 10th take of the scene had finished it off.

The problem is that you can always tell when someone is drinking from an empty cup,the action is very different.Cup to mouth then thrown up.Fine if you have a cold drink.For tea of coffee you would have to have a burn proof mouth.

And why can they always find a parking space right outside where they want to be? I mean.. Morse... Oxford.. Come on!!!
