//Business Improvement District ?//
Thats the one Dave, thank you.
What have they done to upset you?
Trampolines and a Cineworld? I'm there!

Businesses within a B.I.D have voted to pay a levy, on top of their normal business rates, to help them make their areas more inviting for customers of those businesses. How they do that can vary between one area and another but, for example, they might fund the provision of street rangers (as they do in Ipswich) to help visitors to the town centre and to help deter and detect antisocial and criminal behaviour.

One of these clowns stopped my son yesterday.
Just arrived home after my mums funeral service when my son went to buy a pack of cigarettes.
Still suited & booted, he was asked by one of these clowns, ''just come from court have you?''
He replied ''NO, Ive just cremated my Nan''
Many apologies followed, but why shoud a young man, dressed in suit, shirt and tie automaticaly be presumed to be a defendant/part of a court tial
He just said goodby to his nan (my mother)...
That deserves reporting to them, am sure that is not the image they want to portray.

Im a bit punch happy at the moment.
Just glad I wasnt there at the time, I wouldnt have kept my cool at asking the reason why i was wearing a tie and a suit....

Its because I bloody wanted too out of respect....something that seems to have been forgotten!
Forget it. You’re super-sensitive at the moment - and understandably. Pursuing it isn’t worth the effort.
"why should a young man, dressed in suit, shirt and tie automatically be presumed to be a defendant/part of a court trial"

The questioner probably comes from Liverpool!
I've used variations of that and the same has been asked of me if I had turnt up to work in a suit (usually funeral-related).

It is meant to be light-hearted and I never took offence.
Well, let's be glad no violence ensued - report it and move on.

Hope the day went as well as it could do.
