A bit of a long shot but some ABer might know.
Been discussing some old TV shows with my mate today. There was a miniseries between 20 - 30 years ago that we cant remember the title of.
All that we can remember is that it was about a vicar and his dysfunctional family and he had a son named Gabriel. It had some quiet dark story lines.
Anyone got any ideas?
(Dont even know how to start googling for an answer with so little info)

I thought it may have been 'Rev.' but like Grantchester that's much later than the time you are searching for.

No Vicar's son in Rev. though.

Not sure if this is the same one you are thinking off but early in the 70s there was a series about a vicar who had to advertise for a congregation his wife did *extra* services and if I remember correctly the son was doing business studies at school not common in those days It was a dark comedy but unfortunately we could not remember the name. My late husband thought it had Titantic somewhere in the name and I had at one time put a query out her on Answerbank to no avail and I also goggled old shows on TV in the 1970s Thought at one time we were imagining it. Would be interested to know if its the same as you are thinking about. Sorry couldn,t help with title
