I agree to a certain extent with Bramley boy - the script and plot are creaky but I'm enjoying it and I don't usually like ghosty things. It has a completely bonkers element to it which is suiting me at the moment. Very glad to see more of the Normal People actor.

Watched the first one, I am interested enough to keep watching.

I have it on series record.

I'm watching it each night, but still not sure if I like it or not ! I find it a bit 'weird', but I'll persevere.
I watched the first one and have recorded the second one to watch. Not sure, will probably carry on with it as there is not much else on terrestrial tv at the moment.
Halfway through Ep 1 but will continue: couldn't follow the scene in Cambridge when he disparaged himself as a lecturer, and I thought "not another character with a beard"!
Question Author
Oh I quite like his beard !
I think it is absolute tripe. I recorded it because I lived in Cambridge. The acting is very poor. The plot is puerile. The Cambridge students are a bright lot. The main girl does not strike me as being bright. In one of the early scenes in Ireland the house looked badly burnt yet in later scenes the black marks had disappeared. A fire of that size would really have smelt in the whole of the house and there probably would have been water damage, yet there was no mention of smell or any upheaval. I could go on, but I’ll spare you! Bramley.
Agree with Bramley. The girl should have returned to England, has she got no parents and no shame??? I am still watching tho!

It was written by Lisa McGee who wrote The Derry Girls

^ I think she should stick to comedy !
Question Author
Pure escapism really Rosie, but I do like looking at the male lead.
Yes agreed Shirley. :-)
I have a theory so have to keep watching to see if I am correct!
Don’t find the bearded lecture attractive at all.....now Sean the fireman is a different matter......
Well, the first part of my theory was correct.
Completely agree on everything with Bramley. I don't find any of the characters believable and the main character is just too nosey and cheeky for words. Should really have abandoned it after the first half hour but didn't so am hoping (but not convinced) that it WILL have an ending.
Question Author
Sorry Jakep still prefer Mr Beard, especially when he took is shirt off last night - phew!

I think the storyline is ridiculous, was that Roisin last night in the bedroom? I never really thought she was dead. I will watch the last one tonight to find out. Not the best series I've ever watched.
Haven’t seen last night’s yet, but there are so few new programs on at the moment, I’ll probably see it through despite it’s naffness!
Bloke with beard has muttered his way through every program I’ve seen him in.
Thank goodness for subtitles.
Question Author
Yes, I think most of us are just watching it because TV is pretty rubbish at the mo. Bigbad.
Having said that, burlyshirley, the new series of “Wentworth” started last night, and I was going to save it for the weekend, then I changed it to this evening, but I don’t know if I can wait that long!
Not watched it Shirley , glad to see you posting by the way ;0)
