Have bought Microsoft Office 365 online and am busy downloading it on to my laptop. It is for single use/1 PC. Do I need to purchase another licence key for my separate 'proper' computer, which is registered in the same name? I looked for a multiple licence, when I bought the item, but it was more expensive that way. Providing it works, I think I might need to purchase another one

Read the licence - some software that is for 1 computer lets you use it on another eg. a laptop at the same time, as long as both computers are not being used simultaneously. Or get yourself Open Office - its free and a popular alternative to Microsoft Office.

Thank you for a quick reply. I will try downloading on my main computer and see if it accepts the licence key.
With Open Office, will I get lots of advertising I wonder?
Hi bazzard, no, you won't get any unwanted advertising or similar with OpenOffice - it's a one-off download, and I've been using it with no problems for many years.
