I enjoyed last night's episode but what did Vera put on the door handle? I know it was a bag but I've missed the significance of it. It's her long lost sister (I think) who lives there.

It was baby stuff that she had found under the floor boards in her house, I think she might have tried to give it to the baby's mother (her dad's girlfriend) in a previous episode.
