Why did Ms Barker find it necessary to announce the highlights from the German GP qualifying by telling us who's on pole! We've made a point up 'til now of not looking. Note, I've not told anyone.

zebo, annoyed the hell out of me too! If it was on another channel then fair enough but it was on next!!!! The beeb are always doing things like that. News & sport on immediately before MOTD so you turn on at the allotted time to find the news was on late and the scores are on screen!

Don't be too hard on Sue, zebo, she only repeats what's programmed into her fluffy wee head.
Bloody frustrating for council telly viewers though, I agree.
Oh, go on. Do tell! Is it meant to be some secret? Never get modern Formula 1, but what is the interest in Q1 and 2 ? Surely it is only the race that matters, and you know who is on pole then, obviously.
Oh dear FredPuli you really don't know about this do you, neither do I but I will say one thing.. My friend is a obsessed with F1 as zebo and believe me the Quals are not far from being as important as the actual race.
Nearly as important to us as the two hours of cheating, diving and playacting that precedes the penalty shootout in !the beautiful game" is to others. :P
Diz, the last time I watched motor racing, I think Mike Hawthorn was driving ! Did the Quals matter as much back then?

I love watching the qualifying! Doesn't spoil the race at all.
