Brian Blessed and his daughter on Celebrity Pointless, he must be the most pointless celebrity, loud noisy unfunny, his daughter looked liked Nurse Emmanuel from Open All Hours.

I agree with your sentiments Mary T. In the course of my work I have met hundreds of celebrities (and many thousands of people probably) and one`s opinion can only be formed from what we see on the surface. I`m sure Brian Blessed is a nice guy (one of my colleagues climbed Everest with him). I met the cameraman from that expedition too and he had good things to say...

you were pretty snotty about his daughter as well...also your post was just to be critical..not sure why you bothered....
When he types an e-mail is it always in CAPITALS ?
When I was stuck in hospital back in '96 i read his book The Turquoise Mountain, what a great read took my mind off my problems. Think the man is great.

However, surface charm is very beguiling and is not much of an indication as to how people are under the surface. I have met lovely (it appeared) IRA prisoners, a seemingly lovely guy (who murdered his friend and scattered his body parts over Basingstoke). Your negative opinion of Brian Blessed (who you don`t really know) is just as valid as someone else`s positive opinion of Brian Blessed (who they don`t really know)

His daughter resembled the actress Lynda Baron from Open All Hours, are we not allowed to have critical posts.
Yes, quite a character and a good person by all accounts.
I don't care if he's Mother Teresa re-incarnated he's still bloody annoying.....
Trumpet anyone?
of course you can make critical posts, just expect a critical reaction.
I turned over to the end of the programme, I wondered who the woman was, our TV schedule said Anthea Turner!
If he rescues distressed animals he's OK by me. I bet they do as they're told when he booms at them:-)
Mary, just to be fair to you, ( and to make sure I haven't mistaken you with anyone else) I have just spent a while going back over your previous posts regarding people and I can safely say I have not seen you post a pleasant or positive comment about anyone in the public eye. What are you so down on people about, chill out and enjoy the sunshine. We're a long time dead you know.
However, I do think Lynda Baron used to be quite attractive............
NOX I just did the same ......meeeyowwww!
Naughty woofgang, that's getting personal.
Erm..... so did I...
Ooh she was lovely, Nurse Gladys Emmanual or somefink like that. I can see Ronnie Barker gazing at her cleavage now.

Nox disagree, I did stand up for Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman hosts of Pointless. and numerous others, can you give me examples of my unkindness, I am upbeat and happy and chill out, and always give people their due respects can't help forming an opinion of people on how they portray themselves in the public eye.
Didn't he play "Fancy" Smith in Z Cars. He must be a brave guy. I have climbed with people of his build and they can find it tough on the mountain. Long may he cheer us up!
Your posts on here do, on average, usually say that people you have seen on TV are boring/badly dressed/tedious/dim - or otherwise critical of them - you only have to look at your list of posts to see that we haven't made this up.
