I have managed to download the first three of them, but on youtube there is a Jolly Boys Outing with Nick Lyndhurst as Freddie Robdall and a charabanc, but can't find it anywhere. Has it been shown on TV yet?

Jolly boys outing was an OFAH episode. They had a day trip to margate, the coach had a stereo supplied by Del, the coach caught fire, they all had to stay, and Del met up with Racquel again at a club.

Just googled it and it was available since January 2010, so maybe it wasn't shown. Will look on amazon, many thanks

Strange really cos that's when he robs the jewellery store in Margate and it would all make sense then!
Maybe so. Gotta be honest and say that R&C wasn't riveting viewing for me (For wasn't read bored to tears) but as said, all those made have been shown.
Netibiza, the episode you describe is the first episode of Rock & Chips, shown in January 2010. Nicholas Lyndhurst mentions the original OFAH episode from 1989 in your behind-the-scenes clip.
The Jolly Boy's Outing to Margate forms part of the narrative for the pilot episode of Rock & Chips. It does indeed lead to the jewel shop robbery, the investigation of which continues in the second episode "Five Gold Rings".

The outing occurs while Joan goes for pregnancy testing.
