my ex hes broken a contact order with my 9 month old daughter , she is refusing all contact, and she has booked a holiday to take her to spain for 2 weeks, i wasnt asked , im on the birth certificate, legally can i stop her?

If your ex has a residence order she can take your daughter out of the country for up to one month at a time without your consent.

If she doesn't have a residence order she always requires your consent to take your daughter out of the country (even if its only for a day trip).

Why has she broken the contact order? Is it something you've said or done? Speaking from bitter experience - if it's anything you've caused then it is best to be calm, patient, humble and apologetic. If you've done nothing then write to the judge whop issued the court orrder and ask for a hearing. Two weeks is nothing in the big scheme and might give you both chance for things to cool off?
