I saw Halestorm last night, at The Forum, in Kentish Town.

Minus points ...

... Kentish Town is a bit of a dump.

... it took me ages and ages to get back to Brighton afterwards.

... the queue to get in was four blocks down the Highgate Road.

Plus points ...

... Halestorm were fantastic live.

... fronted by the awesome Lizzy Hale.

... loudest gig I've been to since I was probably about twenty.

Right, that's it ... Halestorm, at The Forum in Kentish Town, is Gig Of The Week.

Morning,jj. I noticed that you mentioned "muffled hearing" on the Good Morning thread which rang a bell with me as I'm sure you are aware that that type of reaction to noisey situations can be a warning of hearing damage, possibly not at present but in years to come?

"Okay ish" is possibly the highest compliment ever given to the Brighton Centre.

We think it's a horrendous monstrosity and a complete dump, and it needs to be demolished, or burned down, or anything. And the architect and planning officers should both have been chained to the railing and pecked to death by seagulls.

Yes,minty, mildly and not all the time. A result of working in noisey engineering workshops when I was younger but any loud noise can produce the same effects which was why I mentiond it.
