Sorry, this is not the wireless thermostat, I did not read your question properly. Can you tell me what number is on your thermostat. Did the installer not show you how to use it ?

This video is quite clear.

It's called a Honeywell DT92E, and the installer ( electrician) showed me the apparatus on the wall behind the boiler, but he said it was very complicated, I should let my son do it!! My son works all hours and I have not asked him yet...I have got a 'mobile' room stat which I can't seem to programme, I don't want it at 20 all the time, especially through the night... I want it just ticking over, to get the house warm again...
Follow the instructions on page 1 to set the 'normal' temperature:
http://www.honeywelluk.com/Documents/User-Guide/pdf/1074.pdf

Then go to page 4 ('Energy Saving ECO feature') to set a lower temperature overnight.

If you're still stuck, phone Honeywell on 0300 130 1299 (Option 1).
I have had a look at the user manual for your thermostat and I think it would be extremely difficult to show you on-line. I have looked for a video on your stat. but no luck. I think you may have to wait for your son. However if when you are going to bed and wish to turn the temperature down, you have two buttons with arrows on if you hold the down arrow until it flashes then if you carry on pressing it should lower the set temperature, then reverse when you get up.

Thanks folks, I know a little more!
I think it was remiss of the installer not to ask what hours and temperatures you would like so he could put in a basic program to leave you in a reasonable working condition.

Thank you Donny48, I agree with you...I think the installer left it to the electrician, and he thought I had been told... I will ring Honeywell.....but not till Monday, they are closed today.....
