gness - I have acid reflux, and take the same medication as Mr Carrack, and I don't burp from one year's end to the next.

Apologies - I seem to have my 'serious' head on today.

I have indeed met and interviewed Mr Carrack, and reviewed his live performance - both for the very wonderful Acoustic Magazine (other magazines dedicated exclusively to acoustic music are actually not available!).

I found him to be very personable, a good Yorkshire guy.

I find his music about as exciting as watching paint dry, but that's because I like my music with more edge to it, and he is far too smooth for my taste.

My review of his show was based on the positive reaction of his audience, rather than my own personal ambivalence to his output, which I think is only fair.

I've seen Paul Carrack live many times, a great singer a really nice man. Always makes himself available in the foyer after the gig for autographs.
