My dough hook is stuck in the kenwood chef machine. How do I remove it? If I take it to the retailers or their agents they will charge me heavily. Pls help.

Could it be that a grain of hard wheat or something has got jammed into it and is keeping it solid. Not sure what to suggest but wonder whether soaking the bowl complete with dough hook in some warm water for several hours might loosen it and make it possible to get the dough hook out.

Hello Whoever
That is not the case. Cannot soak the whole unit in water otherwise it will get corroded. The dough hook is let down slowly into a mixing bowl which is already holding flour in it and when the machine is started it makes dough within 2 minutes. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
golly - let us know model no of your machine. Take it you put dough hook in today and now cant get it out?

Dear TonyV
The model no. is OW KW001040. The sales guy told me that it is due to overload. Perhaps my better half kept it going for too long instead of the regular 2 mins. Thanks in advance for your help.
have you already spoken to the guys and girls here?
