Hi, when your using a pressure washer, how long can you go before pressing the trigger again to use it, I mean the water has to go somewhere, so how do you know how long you've got, before the machine gets clogged up or damaged. Thanks.

the water doesn't have to go anywhere, its like a tap, the water sits there until you open the tap (press the trigger) and the pump goes to idle until the trigger is pressed again.

the water doesn't have to go anywhere, its like a tap, the water sits there until you open the tap (press the trigger) and the pump goes to idle until the trigger is pressed again.
The valve on the inside gets to a certain pressure and when you release the trigger the pressure builds up until the pressure relief valve cuts in, the pump still runs but it's building no pressure til you pull the trigger again...
