National Marigold Day

I have decided today is National Marigold Day.
I shall celebrate by using my very best pair of Marigolds - a fetching pair of purple ones with polka dot detail.
Marigolds are NOT just for washing up. A prize of a cake (waits for the arrival of Boo) to the person who can think up the most original use for Marigolds

A sensible suggestion:
when the marigolds are worn out, cut across them to make elastic bands

I bought some black ones once from a certain Swedish store. could not decide if they were for washing up at funerals; for being used by a goth; or for wear at certain fetish happenings. any suggestions?
