how do i find out the make of my old coal fire?

it was put in around the 80's and comes out about 10 inches from the wall. brown with a door that you cannot see through so it is quite ugly looking. i would like to try and find out the name of this type before i decide to replace it. sorry the description isnt great. can anyone help???

Baxi and Parkray were probably the two most popular makes and if you go to their sights you might be able to identify the unit. If I remember rightly the two most popular models in the 80's were the Parkray Coalmaster II and the Baxi Bermuda, hope this helps

Baxi Bermuda were very popular back then, we had one, I loved it, so warm and cosy!............
