Had my camellia for several years, looks very healthy, lots of shiny leaves and growing well, BUT no flowers. I've fed it, watered it plenty, talked to it nicely but nothing!
Any one any ideas please?

give it another couple of years making sure that it has plenty of food and water mid july to late august. If still nothing then standard advice would be to heave it out and replace.....I am too tenderhearted to do that myself!

How many is several? Some of mine have taken quite a few years to start flowering. They do need plenty of feed and water mid july to end august as this is when the buds form.

Probably about 8 years I think.
what kind?
Mine's the same this year - it has big fat buds now, but no sign of blooming - whereas the camellia down the road is almost finished flowering.
boxy that depends on what kind it is, I have had camellia flowers in my garden since the end of feb, they flower in succession.
