It's a bloody long haul sometimes - why do you never get time and money both together?
Yeah sloopy I have often wondered about that myself in the past, this is what I worked it out to be at the time, if I were working overtime at work then I had more money but if I didn't work any overtime I had the time but less money.
a pain in the butt isn't it.
Considered an AB working party Sloopy? We'd do it for booze. x

chaysus gness!! :D
Good idea that, gness !
Oh, and I'll drive the charabanc lol.
A Mickey Finn in those drinks and the volunteers might be Shanghaied. Need thinking about, that.
Ah yes, never thought about that sandy.
Look! There must be a lot of untapped AB talent you could use. I can upholster and I often remove all....well most of...the pins when I'm finished.
Dave can fetch supplies on his moped.......Tony can plumb and refit machines in the loo......DT and Rowan can document it all in rhyme......Shoota can guard against pirates and what MrsO can do with a pair of Marigolds is beyond belief.
Any more volunteers?
When I bought a big old terraced house I held a 'stripping weekend' with a barrel of beer supplied. In less than 2 days the whole house was stripped of it's wonderful woodchip...............
And how long would any shanghaiers keep us Sandy?
Eyes wide in amazement til I got to the woodchip Crafty. :-)
We might be chained to benches below decks and forced to row repeatedly from Grimsby up to Bridlington and back.
Oh Lord Sandy! We wouldn't have to sing a shanty as we rowed would we?
As in the film The Vikings, sandy lol.
see ya later, going to visit my Aunty now !.
On the 4th of July 1806
we set sail from the sweet cove of Cork
We were sailing away with a cargo of bricks
For the grand city hall in new york...

There, I've started us off
