Ok.
No...silly idea.

There are some people who do not even know the name of our Prime Minister. What good would their vote do?

They'd vote for someone for their looks or because they have a prettier name.
Opinions are like hemorrhoids every a-hole seems to have one.

Why should we care what you think if you can't be bothered to explain why you think it?

they would soon want to learn about politics if there state benifit were stopt and health care wot the vote achieved
prisoners don't have vote anyway at the moment.
... and why vote if you don't care what the outcome is? - people only vote if they want to change things, or want to keep what's already in place.
That's balls RVM. I know plenty of hard working people who have never claimed a penny in benefit who don't vote. You appear to have a big old sack of spuds on your shoulder.
Are you from the UK?

It's a person's democratic right not to vote.
evian .. is that like a BIG chip, I think you may be right.

Yes i am born and breed in the uk 72 years ago and still here you idiot look round the world to the countrys that cant vote and see there life style with out the vote

Wot a stupid out look vote change things for the good when we all vote
What about the people who know nothing about politics?
Ridiculous idea!!
People need to care about the issues...and to also feel that their vote will make a difference. Most don't feel that way-and haven't for a long time.
But isn't freedom of choice one of the important parts of democracy which, to me, includes the freedom whether to vote or not, as well as who to vote for.

A vote made through force without any kind of understanding or care could be, in my view, more of a waste than not voting in the first place.
