Help!! I am not expert at games but someone has given me a Nintendo DS and I have been enjoying myself with 'Narnia'. I have completed all the quests (apart from the new dwarf cave, which I have found out you can only do after rescuing Edmund)) but am now totally stumped as to how to go about rescuing Edmund. I have been running around Narnia for two evenings in desparation!!
Can anyone out there please give me a pointer in the right direction. I am sure someone aged 7 would laugh at my plight, but age is not on my side.

Hi shaney, sorry to hear you're not well, keep warm and take care of yourself. It's like that with my bank, I phone & get put through to outer Mongolia or where ever but I can actually walk there in less than 5 mins...ridiculous.
neti there are people around the corner who have drilled & hammered for about 9 years on & off, on more than off. My poor friend who lives next door to them has had a stroke, has migraines and terrible arthritis, I'm amazed she's still sane.

Hi Shaney. Sorry you have the lurgy. It seems to be doing the rounds.
We have a continuous do it banger/driller/you name it he does it next door to us as well. The problem is his house and garden now look a total shambles. He has an obsession with fences and gates and keeps erecting various shapes and sizes round his 1.5 acre garden. He also keeps laying concrete slabs and he has just dug out the footings at the front of his house and left them exposed??!! We don't have any foundations, just big flints as footings so we are somewhat worried that his house may fall down, taking ours with it.
It was a pretty cottage before he moved in!!

What a palaver when your internet goes bazooms up . We get the odd glitch but not total wipeout .We were reduced to having to play cards,Scrabble and Ludo over the weekend Good fun though and Mr S. likes a game of cards .Especially when he can win money off me ! And, I had to get a bank statement from ......an actual bank :)

I was panicking in case my library books were overdue and and I couldn't print my crosswords off on Sat morning which was guaranteed to put me in a bad mood as I like to do them with my cuppa first thing .

Woofie, I ordered some jeggins from M&S and when they came I hated them. My knees looked awful and they were not long enough in the body and too long in the leg!! They were £19.00 and they have been returned. I have decided that the ones they do for skiing etc. are cheaper and probably are much warmer than M&S, although they will look just as bad. Also they can be worn under my cord jeans!! I have seen some for £10.00 but I don't know what size to order!!

I have to have another blood test in 2 weeks as my white blood count was low. (or something like that) Dr said it could be the medication for colitis that's doing it. So another blinking worry.
I don't have noisy neighbours luckily. They are in the process of moving to Spain to live. He went at the beginning of October and his wife goes within the next 2 weeks I think. Then her sister is moving in to live on her own so there shouldn't be too much hassle. As long as she likes Led Zep and Dylan. Only joking - I'm really quite quiet.
Wow Lottie what long posts. Whatever do you think to write about. ~When you get yer money I'll join you in the Bananas! The snow looks lovely where you live but I expect it can be a bit inconvenient sometimes.
The Saga of the ring......I now have returned it. what a shame. My bank wanted £25 to transfer the money and change it to Krona. I'm devastated cos i loved it. Never mind, got to know a lovely Swedish young man called Leif. He was very trusting sending me the ring and my cheque back. I ought to be about 40 years younger ;-)
I'm off to do some ironing now. Keep warm everybiddy and take care.

This man at the back has illegally built a new room and terrace and he's been stopped as one is not allowed to build on 100% of one's garden! So I guess he is back to doing the drainage, but I would have thought he would have had to knock down the illegal bit! My house absolutely shakes and our teeth rattle, honestly!

Well Shaney I sooo wanted UCL to win but never mind. I got 8.1/2 The 1/2 is for Edith Piaf because I couldn't remember the name of the film. I managed a few more this week than usual. The questions must have been easier!! Yes it is disappointing about the ring but things happen don't they.
I've now started sneezing all over the place. I hope it's not from school. Every kid I listened to seemed to have a cough. I felt so sorry for one of the little boys. He is 6 and hadn't got a clue. I really don't know how to help him. I'm not allowed to mention names, but I did tell a friend, like I'm telling you and she said is he autistic but I think they may have found that out before now. Poor lad I feel so sorry for him.

Jude the boy should be sent for a developmental evaluation - do you have a supervisor of some kind; talk to her/him. As you say, one expects it to have already been done but you can't be sure. About the ring, I'm almost crying here, silly silly Jude why couldn't you have asked my help, we would have worked something out, I just didn't think it would be necessary. If you're up to starting all over again (give you a chance to talk to Leif again you know;-) I will help in any way I can...! I'm too tired to think how, right now, but we'll work something out! Oh what a disappointment about the ring Jude, £25's bloomin hefty. You can probably get a return flight to Stockholm with a certain budget airline for that so if you go you can bring us all a ring back & we'll cover the air fare between us. Sorted :o)
