Does anyone recommend that for voice control of games in general? Are there any good alternatives?
I use VoiceAttack in Elite Dangerous because I don't have enough fingers when they are all occupied doing something else. Out of interest I used the free version to keybind vocally some Battlefield 4 commands and found they worked quite well. After that I purchased the full version which enables you to have more than one profile and set one up for Elite...

I believe you can use VoiceAttack in any game provided you can alter the keybindings.
Meant to add. If you play with others in 'chat' using something like 'Teamspeak/Ventrilo' it can become quite confusing when others hear you muttering commands to VoiceAttack. ☺☺☺
