Baked apples with sultanas and brown sugar is a perfect dessert for autumn, especially for anyone with an apple tree.

This hot dessert is a wonderful treat to warm up with on a cold windy day. The brown sugar caramelizes the apples, which become sweet and sticky, while the sultanas plump up, soaking in all the juices and flavours from the apples and cinnamon.

Baked apples are one of the simplest desserts to make, perfect if you want an easy recipe to serve up at a dinner party or family meal. Baked apples are very comforting and full of warm flavours, a perfect end to a lovely meal.
