what is american frozen pudding mix? it says to use this for the filling but we are in engand, the closest i can find is instant whip or angel delight.

the cake collapses when cutting or after its just been cut using this though so i am in need of your help.

do you have this pan? do you have any tips?n recipes other than the wilton ones

Pudding in america is the angel delight kind of thing or pots of the moussey type stuff. My best suggestion for filling it in the UK would be a whisked ganache....

What about milk jelly, or you could whisk evap milk and add jelly to make a mousse like filling

hi e.crespo thanks for your answer, unfortunately I have seen that page, essentially that is the same as in the wilton recipe book that came with it.

just an afterthought the milk jelly would absorb into the cake wouldnt it? ummmm never heard of milk jelly sorry xx

thank you woofgang, i will give it a go, in fact i will try anything as the angel delight thing isnt firm enough

Try a whip cream, we use Cool- Whip here which isn't in the can and doesn't melt. I add berries or cocoa powder to mine, my mother has also add cinnamon.
