That's how I cook it, we love fish and can't abear it faffed about with. Simple honest food is best cooked simply

Any fresh veg and small potatoes steamed in their skins or sauteed
Peas, mushrooms, cauliflower cheese, dauphinoise potatoes if you want to be fancy.
Smoked Haddock loin with a poached egg and spinach for us tonight. Slice of brown bread and butter. Haddock done in foil, in the oven, butter and salt and a splash of white wine... never forget a bit of salt with fish.
