The Magpie Cafe In Whitby

Hi I want to go to Whitby as I have heard the Magpie Cafe is good. The only trouble is i don't like fish. Does anybody know if they do other food please.?

Mainly fish but also does ham and chips, lasagne, burgers and a few veggie options

I love Whitby, the scenery is spectacular, but I wouldn’t travel there just to visit what is essentially a fish and chip restaurant. I was lucky enough to be there when there was a steam punk festival on, very crowded but great fun.

Hi Cleoval, may i recommend Sherlocks for the scrummy muffins! We love Whitby and always visit, we did go to the Magpie once but it wasn't for us, a bit expensive, nice food though.

Magpie is lovely, we love fish, took my stepson he had the lasagne.

Yes, they definitely do chips. Stay inside the cafe if you don't want to be divebombed by herring gulls!
