On my iPhone, I want to download a free app, when I try to it tells me to either create a an Apple account or login to an existing one, since I am first time user with this new iPhone, I tried to create a new Apple account, but its asking me for card/payment details despite the app being free ?

They don't make it easy to create an account without a card, but it can be done...

But is it so they can charge you if you decide to buy an app next time ?

its so that they can immediately charge your account when you download a PAYABLE app or a film / song etc etc.

The Bluetooth doesn't detect a mobile ? It searches for ages but does not detect. I want transfer stuff from my previous phone, any help ?

I had same problem, the iphone wont detect another phone unless its another iphone, it only detects hands free kits etc.

How do I assign a track that I got from iTunes as a ringtone?
Any quick directions ?
