Not quite sure I follow you. Are you asking if you pay too little tax?

im just concerned that if my 2 jobs combined earn me over 30000 my tax i pay on my main job will be more..
Add the two amounts you have earned in a tax year together take away your tax free allowance as per your tax code and that is the amount you pay tax on at the specified rate. The figures you have quoted will not bring you up to the 40% bracket unless you earn a lot in the next 4 weeks. The Inland revenue site gives you all the tax thresholds
You still pay the same rate of tax on whatever you earn up to £37400.
As one lorry driver to another, how do you get your rest periods in when working them sort of hours.
FAO: I dont earn £37400 in my main job , but on my p/t job at £8.00 ph I pay basic rate tax.
My last aimed at 123

Thanks,i'll check the allowance out,not to clued up on all this tax i am paying,i seem to pay a lot on my sunday job,if i earn £93 for the day,i pay £18.60 tax and my net for the day is £74.40
you've paid £512 tax in this financial year?
you are probably getting all your tax allowance on your main salary so the 2nd is being fully taxed at 22%

My main job is monday untill fri,i drive under average hrs and work periods,i ship to holland and work a mix of driving and workshop stuff,so on a sunday i do a regular run for a owner driver,i do 3 sundays then have a full weekend...i keep it legal most of the time...bring back filling in taco's..
With due respect, filling in tacho's will not stop you falling asleep at the wheel, and it could happen.
