Personally the only thing I think is weird is wearing your wife's dresses when you can just as well buy your own -- that way you know they'll fit and there'll be no arguing when you want to wear the same thing :)

I have a male friend who likes to dress as a woman and he goes the whole hog ! Make up, long lustrous wigs, tights, high heeled shoes and flowery dresses (he likes flowery dresses) ! He is very tall and skinny and looks like a tall, skinny man dressed as a woman. When I first found out he did this, I'll admit I was horrified and I still feel uncomfortable around him now when he's dressed as a woman, BUT I hide my feelings because he is a good man who will help anybody. Rightly or wrongly, I think it's 'weird' too. I actually bought him make up one Christmas and he loved it !

I remember when I worked on the photography department at Boots some years ago there was this lady who was a man and was going through her transgender operation stage by stage, it was the time of the 35mm film, she was at least 6ft 3 and wore white stilettos but her voice was very baritone , she came in regularly to get her photos which we assumed were the various stages of her transition, anyhow we’d all had a directive from above anyone staring or laughing at her would face a severe disciplinary even the sack, it was very hard to tannoy “ Could Miss ?please return to the photographic department, especially for other customers standing when she rocked up , I often wonder what happened to her
