Whilst fitting a overhead garage door with a friend i had the weight of the door all of a sudden, i felt a very sharp pain in my r/h side/back at the bottom of the rib cage. it is very painfull to the touch, when i cough etc, and extremely painful when i sneeze. It has restricted my movement and very uncomfortable at night. Could it be just a pulled muscle? I don't want to pester my GP and thought it would heal given time, but its not getting any better after 3 days. Any ideas please, thanks very much.

I agree with Vulcan. Some Ibuprofen by mouth and/or ibuprofen Gel to rub in. It will settle.

Sounds as it's a pulled muscle. I pulled a leg muscle recently,it was almost ten days before it was back to normal.
