Odd question I know but What happens to your belly button when you grow up?

Is it just a bit of squiggly looking flesh on your tummy or is it attached to anything inside?

Thanks

My "belly button" is ...beautiful.....not a bit "squiggly." Yes, your belly button is attached "inside" to your liver by a ligament which is the vestigial remains of a vein that was once in the umbilical cord. For a " brain scrambler" Google........ligamentum teres hepatis.........

I don't think it's attached to anything. If it were they wouldn't be able to move it so easily after tummy tucks etc.
