My daughter suffered labral hip tears in both hips about nine months ago. She has been having physio for quite awhile but hasn't really had much improvement. Other than surgery what are her options.

This sort of tear is not uncommon in young athletes and i think one can be sure that even with treatment, one cannot compete at the highest and competitive level. Sorry Brinjal.

If Nsaids e.g Ibuprofen and or physiotherapy has not relieved the pain then she has only two options....to suffer her discomfort or undergo non invasive surgery.

Endoscopic surgery.

She was an athlete a sprinter will this mean and end to her sports career.
