Then....my love ...you are an ideal candidate for this successful procedure.

I do not speak from personal experience....I might add.

No, I haven't, but I know people who have. I had endometriosis in younger years and it was very unpleasant. Anything to help you in that direction can only be a good thing, IMO.
For what reason are you having this procedure?

Do you want further pregnancies?

No I haven't had it done ;-)

I am having it done because of heavy irregular periods & all the other symptom's that go with it! I have had two mirena coils fitted in the past 2 years, both have managed to work their way out!
And no I don't want anymore children....3 stroppy teenagers are quite enough!!

Thanks Boxtops!
I had one 2 years ago and it worked brilliantly for me. I had very heavy periods and like you had a mirena coil which came out and various other procedures before having this done. I came home the same day and apart from a little stomach ache by the next morning I felt fine and my periods have been very light ever since.I realise this may not work for everyone but I would definitely recommend you give it a try if it is recommended to you. Good luck!

Thank you jkelly24 - I've been today and signed the consent form - just got to wait now for pre-op!
Does it help with all the other symptoms i.e. headaches, tireness and period pains?

Thanks :-)
My tiredness was down to anaemia which improved slowly as I was losing less blood each month. I must admit I now get worse period pains but can take pain killers for that and the fact my periods are far far lighter now far outweighs the period pains. I am sooo happy I had it done and hope it all works out well for you too.
