I caught a glimpse of this on the TV last week but switched over because I found it so offensive. Leaving aside the obvious free-loading aspect of this, does anybody know what Mr Rolfe is going to do when he loses his looks ?

Whilst noting it is written to incite, for sure this is an example of how badly welfare is run. We naturally want t think of the innocent (children) and want to ensure they do not suffer.
But maybe what the state ought to do is leave the welfare of the children to the parents. And if they fail to support them, then look into individual cases to sort the unfortunate from the 'lead swingers', and charge the latter with neglect. They can go do hard labour inside HRM prison where they won't be able to breed and laugh at society thinking them suckers any more, and then the already existing kids become eligible for State help ? Hopefully that would be a good attitude change experience for folk such as Mr. Rolfe.

No. What should happen, OG, is that after knocking out say, three or four the children should be taken into care (on the basis that the father and mother(s) are irresponsible feckless idiots who cannot provide for them) and any future offspring by any of the adults involved should be similarly taken away. The children can be fostered and then adopted into homes where they will be properly cared for and the adults can be left to sleep (or do whatever else they normally do in bed) on the streets.
Wow, have as many kids as you like and you don't even have to put up with them. Don't we get that sort of issue on a worldwide scale these days, where some areas populate more than the local area can cope so they migrate to where folk are trying to be more responsible ? Have as much population as you like and watch them go elsewhere.
The overriding reason that there are people like this odious character, is because our welfare system allows him to exist. If there wasn't the monetary benefit to have far too many children, they wouldn't and could't afford to act this way.
The truly awful Philpotts were in the same boat, although I hope the same fate doesn't befall these kids.

Andy...don't you think we ought to know about scroungers like these ? After all, its my money, and yours, and millions of other people that is paying for this mans chosen lifestyle. There is no indication that these 15 women were raped, so its their fault as much as his.

Further, had the State not financed his fecklessness to such a degree it may well have concentrated his mind a little earlier on in his "career" and discouraged him to sire so many children, particularly if he and his partners were reduced to living on the streets.
The root cause of this is the State underwriting the existence of such people. Each time another child arrives so does a wallet full of cash. If that were to be curtailed it would surprise a number of people how readily their behaviour might alter.

Am I being superior and self-righteousness compared to this loafer ? The more publicity that people like get, the more chance we have of changing our welfare system so that there will less like him in the future. The TV company can answer for themselves but they didn't invent this bloke, or the others in the same position.
