Pets needs a subsection for cat threads... so poor salla can avoid them... seriously cats seem to evoke stronger reactions than dogs but they get a lot of attention on here... or maybe a general 'here kitty kitty ' sticky in pets would do

Dog owners seem to love telling stories of how obedient and intelligent their dogs are. I

Cat owners seem to enjoy telling the tales of when the cat tried to kill the meter reader etc etc

I also understand people who dislike cats or afraid of them - they look smug and act evilly.

Fresh catnip is useful don't bother with sprays ..they go a bit crazy but then they crash out for ages

Does anybody else have a cat who walks along a shelf - meows and waits until you look - then kicks an ornament over the edge? I suppose if you are going to be evil you should ensure that you have an audience.

luckily i have no shelves, she does though when i'm happily engrossed in a book - therefore not paying her attention - stick her claws into me then try to look innocent

I saw a clip from a Vet on the web - he said that cats are about 1/25 of the size of a human. Yet they have driven many a gardener and birdwatchers to despair and they usually win such battles.

We are doomed ................
