'answer removed' on AB ?

Excuse a newbie question which has probably been done to death but trawling through the threads I've seen quiet a few 'answer removed' -is this removed by the poster? because I can't find a button to do it (if for example you answer something then realise you got the wrong end of the stick) or is is an editorial removal (which then explains how nice and civilized this forum seems to be)

If you look at AB very early in the morning you often find lots of "answers" that are in fact spam. There can be a couple of dozen of them, all done by the same person.

People do these updates overnight as they think they will stay on the forum longer before being deleted (they are also often done by people in the USA during their "day").

Either the Editor or a moderator has removed it.
Editorial removal.

This is either done by myself or a user moderator.
The answer will have been removed by the Ed, Deputy Ed or an appointed Moderator, probably because it was spam but there may be other reasons. You can't remove your own

When the AB editors logon in the morning and see this spam they then trawl round the site deleting it.

Which is why you see so many deleted answers.
magsmay, you can help the eds by clicking on 'Report' the bottom of the offending post and reporting the post as spam whenever you see any.
