My 10 month old male English Mastiff sometimes eats other dogs' feces when he comes across it on our walks or occasionally when another dog has relieved himself in our yard. He never eats his own feces, just other dogs'. Can anyone explain to me why he does this? Thank you.

I used a remote controlled collar on a deaf dog which squirted lemon spray. I used to hide and she never realised why she suddenly got a squirt of lemon when she misbehaved. It only took a few days and she always associated the collar with the need to behave. Where are you located cheesycheata?

Ah, I'm in The Lake District UK so I can't advise you to join the Mastiff Association can I? There is a US Mastiff Club though. They should be a good source of info.
That's nothing, just go into a McDonalds and you can observe humans doing it !
