Sometimes the AnswerBank feels like a university of cliques, with the Quiz and Puzzlers swapping clues and strategies in the teachers lounge, the News crowd debating the future of the country before an audience in the quad and the Body & Soul folks gossiping over lost love and the pros and cons of body piercing in the cafeteria. Not to mention the future homemakers (Home & Garden) pattering in the school garden and the Science enthusiasts spending their recreation breaks in the chemistry lab.

Out on the playing field, the jocks are up to their usual tricks, discussing the sexual orientation of footballers or giving a much needed answer to a flustered Quiz and Puzzler (Sunderland did it in 1979, Villa did it in 1981 but who did it in 1980 Answer: Brooking).

The most understated room at ole AB University may very well be the Library, where the bespectacled and anatomically annotated patrons of History & Myths spend their leisure time. (The library was disputed territory before the Phrases & Sayings crowd lost to the H&M team in a rollicking game of name that famous greybeard.) Now, if you have never ventured into the room, never breathed in the dust of ages coming from the hanging tapestries or sunk into the moth eaten chairs thatve seen better days, then you are missing out!

In the Library you can find out what a groat is and whether or not we still use them. A groat, by the way, is a silver coin worth four old pence Quizmonster. You can also learn why the number seven is considered lucky and discuss the traditions behind the selection of national anthems in sport. Ah the library no longer just for bums and the random truant.
