It's a bit of a puzzle because you have said thanks previously- eg this from a couple of weeks ago

It seems you have said thank you by way of a reply to your own question lots of times. Have you changed device or browser in the last few weeks? I know some users have reported that the answer box is greyed out on their own questions sometimes

I am somewhat confused. (OK perhaps this is normal for me.)

At this very moment it is recorded on blondiee's profile that her last activity in Answebank was at 01.02 this morning. Then at 01.21 she was able to give a Best Answer to Lie-in King for his response in the Crossword section. However, at 01.42 there is this question about thanking members for their answers
