Just For Once

On the news programmes and in general there are debate on different subjects .We hear and listen to each ones case on either side .Would it not nice just for once for a side to say yes you are right I never seen it from that point of view .With the election coming up will it happen ....doubt it ...but just once

Sort of stops it being a debate doesn't it ? I'm sure both parties will know the other makes some valid points, but their aim is to make clear their points take priority, not cave in. The the observers can decide what they think important.

Yes what you say is true old geezer .How often have we not in life said you know something you are right I never seen it that way .Its not an admission of being wrong .its just you saying this issue is so important I want the best solution and yours is better than mine and what I thought.

that can happen if you've not thought something through and someone else presents an argument you haven't heard before. I'd be very surprised if a politician hasn't heard all the arguments before; that's what happens at polcymaking sessions
