I always liked him. the fruitiest voice in the world ! He was wonderful in Judge John Deed, a program I miss terribly. Can anyone remember his son Jeremy, who appeared in "Crossroads" ?

Aww, I liked him too. Only the other day I watched an Old episode of Never the Twain, it was wonderfully cheesy and him and Windsor Davis were a great team in it.
In the 60s there was a sitcom called, 'Our man at St Marks' which starred Donald Sinden as the vicar and Joan Hickson as the housekeeper. Hilarious, and I have never seen it repeated.
