Lidl Lobster

Lidl's current tv advert shows lobster but it's not in my local store.
Has anyone seen it in theirs?

it usually comes in the weekend after the ads start. if they have the kilo bags of raw king prawns part shelled, get some of those too, they are wonderful. Mine had frozen crabs at christmas which were also well worth the price.

I got the lobster last week,its in the freezer,they only had about 4 though.i don't think the offer is on this week in ours.

I can't comment on Lidl but whenever I've been to Aldi they have had lobsters in the freezer.

I'll confirm the above comments...the lobsters were "specials" ie only available for a limited period....which ended yesterday (Weds).

Lidl's lobsters tend to be seasonal, coming in for Christmas. (I've got four still in my freezer - one scheduled for this weekend.) In the past they've beeen on special offer at some time after New Year, but I haven't seen that this year, (tho' I may have missed it). Cheaper than Asda's too.

They've shrunk to 350gm. They used to be 375 gm.

We went to a Lobster Shack once whilst in America/Canada (can't remember where!) It was scary. All the paraphernalia one had to have to eat a lobster!

We have had them a few times, quite nice but very small! hardly worth all the effort to be honest.
