and thank you to bibblebub too!
you're welcome
Help please with 5d: Copy sent round half the world to unknown ministerial office (6) C?I?C? - not certain of the "i"
curacy = C.C. outside of ura(nus), followed by unknown = Y
Thanks bibblebub - i had rewriting instead of rewording or could it be rewarding
(Editing would be lucrative, if one made a single change)
i've gone for 'rewording' because the bit about making a change is next to the 'lucrative' part of the clue which indicates (at least to me) that 'rewarding' needs to be modified
Thanks
good luck
Submissions on the Times Xword club website all seem to have 1 error. No correct solutions so far!!??
good job i only do the crossword in the newspaper because then i'm never left with wondering what's wrong with the answers i've got
Times xword club site has been corrected now so there are lots of correct submissions including mine!
Brighter. Brig for brigadier, the wrong is hte and r for regiment.
Immobile.
Feinted more likely from the way the clue is given.
{BRIG}{HTE*}{R}
{I'M}{MOBILE}
FEINTED ~fainted
