Can anyone tell me do cats mate multiple times to get pregnant or do they only do it the once ( i find that hard to believe) or do they mate the whole time there in season.which is roughly how long

going to get my book out the loft tomorrow but want to know tonight

they can, and often do, mate throughout their fertile time. one litter of kittens can actually have more than one father. scary, eh?
