I've just burnt the cottage pie, and I scraped the top off but it tasted 'orrible, still Mr N ate it like a dutiful husband, it was either eat it or wear it!

I was listening to the local radio today where they were at a lunchtime club for pensioners.....dare I go?

For the first time in my life I am cooking with gas. What horrors, it's either overcooked or under cooked. Apart from that I am terrified, think I can smell gas all the time and waiting for the explosion. Rather have electricity any day, so Bazile, if her indoors is cooking with gas, I dont blame her.

I like cooking with gas, although not as clean as electric. I have gas hob and electric oven.
Baz I've never had boiled bananas, your wife must be a whizz at cooking.
