How's Your Day Been?
33 Answers
I went out last night and had the worst Indian meal I've ever eaten (or not eaten in this case) and drank a prodigious amount of wine and stayed up until gone three this morning.
Today I still have a hangover and I am having to find an insurance company that will cover me for acts of terrorism whilst on holiday as things have been getting a bit lively where I'm heading to! In between ringing insurance companies I am trying to do some invoicing and answering the phone and door bell which seem to be going non-stop today, they know my head is thumping!
I should have declared today a duvet day.
Hope your day has been better....

I then ordered a chicken and potato dosa, it came with no potato and was luke warm. I mentioned the lack of potato and was told it was a chicken dosa and shouldn't have potato in it. Long discussion with waitress and manager who finally agreed that the menu was misleading. They replaced my dosa, with one that had just potato in it!?!?! The sambar and coconut chutney that accompanied it had both had all flavour removed by the kitchen. I had a side order of bindi do piaza and had to spend a serious amount of time poking through the onion and tomato trying to find the okra.
My friend had a biryani that was bland beyond belief and over cooked, the only discernible flavour was of black pepper.
The poppadoms, were fresh and not greasy - the highlight of the meal.
ChillDoubt, that's not a bad day at all!

Oh and I forgot the icing on the cake. The manager said we weren't to pay for the meal, my friend and I were not prepared to pay nothing, we had no grumble with or drinks so it was only right we should pay for those.
The manager then came back with a bill that had 50% off everything. Not a bad compromise we decided......until I went through the bill to check it and found an extra glass of wine added on.
Attention to detail is not their forte and no, we will not be eating there again.
