one year ago today a lonely young redhead was sitting in her king size bed..... ok scrub the young but the king size is true.....you never know. ;-) ......wondering if the poor, dull lights on her Honda Civic would mean a dreary winter of tucking up early....all on her own, waiting for the bright summer evenings when she could rejoin the human race......so far away. Cue violins.
"Come on St. Theresa of the little flower," said the old redhead. "Where are you when I need you? Put down the roses and get your finger out! Help!"
A peal of bells and a bright light......well scared the pants off me to be truthful
....came from the corner of the bedroom where the dusty....bit of a housework *** at times...old laptop, donated by the daughter, languished.
"Go on Ma....time you got online....join the real world...be a silver surfer....turn on and fiddle." Daughter had said. Daughter got a smack.
But....the redhead was brave so she opened the machine, turned on and had a fiddle.....well she was alone after all.
How do I fix my Honda Civic headlights.....she asked the machine...I need to get out...I can't hibernate.....I'm man hunting....time is passing me by!
AND......Glory be to The Holy Mother and all The Saints in Heaven..........
Answerbank appeared....as if by magic!
Slowly....with shaking fingers...manicured by Lucy on the corner of Bridge Street...she typed in her question. Not very well because you all took the p*ss and someone gave me a booby prize...Baldric probably. BUT......she got answers!
Answerbank did what Honda couldn't....you fixed my lights....I could go out on dark nights....lookout men!!!!!
There followed a year of fun, banter, help, a shoulder to cry on and the odd argument.....hi Sqad and Ron....but....
The redhead has new friends...some she has met...some are to be met soon.. and you are all lovely so on my AB Anniversary
A big thank you.

Love Gx

Jaysus, gness, you are lucky that didn't injure you. Careful you don't cut yourself getting the metal bit out of the light socket.

Hi Excel and Erin...thank you. xx

My Ma was a great believer in St. Anthony. But she'd never met our Tony. x

Well I'm looking for the torch to see if I can get the metal bit out. that means a ladder....and I've had a glass of red......fingers crossed. x
Leave it to daylight gness otherwise electrocution or blowing fuses
Leave it until tomorrow gness, much safer to do it in the daylight.
