Ash, Beech, Birch, Conifer, Elm, Hazel, Oak, Sycamore, Walnut, Yew. There are ten tree in the UK. Ten trees are in my garden.

no, oi don't mean how many species, oi mean how many trees.

anyway you've missed out loads, loike chestnut, apple and so on. But how many in total, that's what Jacob wants to know.
At the end of the year 2000 the Forestry Commission estimated that there was 2.1 billion trees in the UK.
In England alone there was 1.3 billion, which was approximately 25 per head of population.
