You blood tests have shown an increase in your TSH......hence your dose of thyroxine is insufficient and needs increasing.

Also on the leaflet that comes with the tablets I have just noticed it says doses patients over 50 years initially no more than 50 micrograms a day sould be taken I had been started on 100mcg and I am over 50 years
How many times have i given my opinion on AB to throw away leaflets that come with tablets?
Question Author
Yes makes sense if no one takes any notice of them sqad could I also ask what could be the reason for a increase in TSH
