Our eldest daughter was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid gland three years ago. She has been on Thyroxine since then & I can reassure you that she hasn't grown any hairs on her chin.

Hope that helps you Ashford.

(Although I can't speak for anyone else).

You may need checked for polycystic ovaries (treatable hormonal condition).
I have been taking thyroxin since 1990 for an underactive thyroid and i haven't any problems like that at all, more the opposite really.
I have been taking Thyroxin for 25 years and have no hairs on chin, quite the opposite really my eybrows are quite thin and body hair sparse.
